I was at the airport this weekend and very much appreciated the convenience of at Uber/Lyft/ other app pickup stop at the arrivals level of the airport. I remember calling Ubers at the airport in the past and having to wait for them at the curb where all the other cars/ taxis/ and limos were. It was hard to find your driver and also hard for the driver to be able to find parking, so this neat little stop is a extremely convenient.
I also chose to feature the Uber stop in this week’s whativegot to highlight the pervasiveness of Uber in our everyday lives. Uber has grown immensely and become so integrated into our world that huge entities such as international airports have been forced to accommodate them. Once a small startup, Uber is now a global transportation company that we can’t live without.
