This product, the Nintendo Power Glove, released in 1989. This hand controller was the first gaming device that allowed for motion controls. It was known to be limited functionally and inaccurate; however, it incredibly iconic in pop culture + media. This early exploration into motion control can be seen in later devices/iterations such as the successful Wii. Thus, Nintendo was able to learn from its earlier motion device failures. #ProductThrowbacks
