For my last job, I traveled on a regular basis, spending much of the spring, summer, and fall on the road to events around the U.S., Canada, and sometimes Europe. I’ve been missing those adventures, so I turned to this book to fill in the gaps until I can hit the road again myself. The stories are just the right length for a busy student, and since each one stands alone, it doesn’t matter if I put the book down and pick it up a month later (a common problem in my leisure reading lately). I always enjoy anthologies edited by authors whom I already know and love, since I feel like I hear a little of their voice in the selections they make.
