The lighting in my dorm room is terrible, so I figured I’d invest in some decorative lights. These string lights are the best I’ve come across. Most string lights are don’t extend very far (these are 80ft compared to most companies’ 20ft!) and are a hassle, requiring you to plug the lights in every time you want them to be turned on. But these have a remote control which allows you to turn on/off, dim, and put the lights on different flashing settings. Because the wire is copper, you can bend them every which way, making a pattern like I did in my room (below). They bring a lot of light into my room, and I get a good amount of compliments on how they make my room look more homey than dorm-like.
