I was recently inspired by Google’s Ida Lewis Doodle, which you can view here. I love the illustrations and the use of animations to make it come alive. I also like the use of color to convey light and darkness, and the multi-layered look of the Doodle. Overall, Google does a good job of harnessing Doodles to educate the public about people and events they wouldn’t otherwise be aware of in a creative and fun way. The Doodles showcase a wide range of artistic styles and representation methods.
