I use my Apple Pencil all of the time to take notes and sketch. It is an indispensable tool, and one that makes my life easier and better-organized. No longer do I have to deal with the clutter of books or forgetting notebooks, and my lecture notes are all non-destructively manipulatable and at-a-glance. Although Apple new eschews skeuomorphism, this device looks refreshingly pencil-like in shape, even if not in material and texture. This ensures that the learning curve is minimized, and the device remains elegant. Although I wish it wasn’t as easy to lose, and had a better charging method than the ridiculous-looking lightning port hidden under the useless cap, it has changed the way I take notes and approach design.
