This post is largely inspired by my love of water. Swimming is my favorite summer (and fall) activity. February and March are particularly swimming-free months (my family has been know to do a plunge in November and December and occasionally January), and I’m craving a dip. While I prefer salty sea water, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has a pool that can definitely compete.

This swimming pool is not just your average infinity pool. Its on top of the hotel as part of a boat shaped structure and overlooks all of Marina Bay and the city.

Hotel guests (only) can relax and look out onto the city and even light shows at night all from the pool. The visual is stunning enough that even Singaporeans will rent a room for a night just to try out the pool. Why go to a rooftop bar when you could go here?
