It aims to target an audience that is semi-literate and less-tech savvy, possibly an older population with access to only low-end tech. Five minimizes its loading speed and data requirements, so it can be read on the go without needing a strong internet connection. The app also takes advantage of intuitive finger-swiping motion to facilitate navigation through the articles.
