Artist Gabriel Dawe used 60 miles of 15 thread colors to make this rainbow installation, as part of the “Wonder” exhibition at the Remnick Gallery (Smithsonian American Art Museum). The colors seem to shift when you walk by it; you are compelled to get close and study the components, making a dance between you and the shifting beam of light.
