This speaker ($80,000) is contoured, geometric and natural all at the same time. Your mobile phone controls allow the consumer to play sound in any direction so that the entire room can hear or merely one specific person. It has the best audio quality on the market and bass that would make your ears melt. Though I haven’t been in a room with this thing, I love everything about its design. It wouldn’t be out of place at the MET or the Guggenheim and it (reportedly) sounds even better than it looks. It causes me to question the assumption that a speaker is simply a vibrating cone and a hollow space. Further, it breaks the assumption that circular sound requires circular design.
