My roommate uses this shopping site called Poshmark, where she can upload pictures of her items to sell and also buy from others. I do very very minimal clothing shopping online because I can never predict how pants will fit me and I do not want to risk buying a top I will not end up wearing. Also, I am wary of the time it takes to find a good deal. However, my roommate is quite the opposite and always is able to dig up some gem. She is also surprised by how many followers (I believe close to a thousand) she has gained despite the few items she had posted. Because of the lower cost buying these items and the prospect of earning credit from selling your own items, this method could be a way for me to enter into online shopping. However, first I would need to overcome the barrier of deciding what I no longer want and taking photos of these items if I want to earn some credit before I start buying.
