Since coming to college I’ve found Groupme to be a great way to talk to keep in touch with friends from home as well as involve myself in group activities on campus. Unlike traditional texting group conversations, Groupme allows participants without smartphones to engage equally with those who do have them which allows me to have group conversations with people who otherwise I would have to text individually. Additionally, I really appreciate how seamlessly the app translates from a mobile platform to a computer interface as I find it incredibly easy to engage in short conversations when I’m on the go but also type longer messages on my computer when necessary.
