When I was living in Bombay, I would spend my weekends in the art district which was a short 15 minute walk from my home. The area is known as Kala Ghoda, which means Black Horse, and every February they have a large art festival for a week. Local artists sell their creations and I had picked up these three paintings. Each is about 3 x 3 inches and made by the same painter. I love the simplicity of them. They use few colors yet the subjects are easy to distinguish. Original art feels special because its unique; you can perhaps print it from a photo, but it would lack texture and authenticity.
