From humble beginnings to elegant, covetable pieces of furniture. Who knew such a simple process could turn trash into treasure? We present UpCycle(color), a low-cost, high-speed method of revolutionizing old, forgotten furniture into highly desirable components of a modern, sleek home, dorm, or office. Our first pieces were designed for a minimalist white kitchen; therefore they are a part of the UpCycle(white) collection. We propose the use of the UpCycle(color) process in the Harvard Recycling Center, where the space would be organized into distinct color galleries, which would be populated by furniture pieces that have received the same rapid reinvention that we employed on our chair and table.
