Ever since I was in elementary school, I always put up glow-in-the-dark stars in my room. I think it might be a little cliche since I’m an astronomy concentrator, but it makes me happy to see them light up at night. The stars are almost unnoticeable with the lights on, but shine really brightly with the lights off. They also serve a functional purpose. I stick them on the edges of my desk on around my TV stand and bed so I can easily navigate with the lights off. I think they’re a really great way to make a room feel both more homey and more unique.
