In designing this pillow case, I had options of mixing different patterned fabrics together. The given options came in various colors, green, yellow and even off-white. After pondering for a while about how fancy I could go with matching different patterns together, I finally went with a big brown/gray polka dot one.
Because it looks the simplest and it answers my quest for minimalism.

I use the same fabric throughout to go for a clean look. To make this work, I also pay extra special attention to the hem lines and perfect sizes, and other precisions I could achieve during the process.
The case turns out clean and neat as I hope, I think if I had a choice I might choose a different fabric to make it look more refined.
