I’m often on the lookout for items that are eco-conscious, beautiful, and practical. My current independent study necessitates the use of printed materials, including books, papers, and articles; in order to sift through countless pages I would stick post-it notes to refer back to important points of a piece. However, the depleting nature of paper and bright colors of the stickies detract from the simplicity of the books. They seem out of place aesthetically.
On a digital platform I would use a ‘bookmark’ feature, but what would be the analog equivalent? I searched and found these simple yet stunning Book Darts. I keep at least a few dozen of these with me whenever I’m pursuing my academic research the old-school way–with a pile of thick, dense, research volumes.
