The primary sense that I focused on is visual. A wine rack, though serving the obvious function of holding wine bottles, is ultimately aimed at the further motive of displaying one’s collection of wine. Someone who may be online looking for wine rack, therefore, is presumably a visually oriented consumer, and so I modified the advertising image to enhance the visual appeal. My intuition is that based on the design of the rack, it would best fit in a contemporary minimalist interior where the simple wood frame would neither stand out or underperform. The almost IKEA like rack fits within a household is not overly clustered so that the wine rack can remain visible but not intrusive, hinting subtly at the fine character and their collection of fine wines.
