Trader Joe’s has done something unique in that it is a grocery store that maintains the brand for almost all of its products. It tries to recreate a farmer’s market environment with paper bags, small cash registers, and casually dressed employees. Their packaging, product offerings, store layout, and even graphics and branding all contribute to the feel that they want customers to experience in the store. They create a cohesively diverse environment that gets people hooked and keeps their customers coming back for more.
