Tumblr is a desirable product because the minimalist, easily navigable platform allows millions of people to share their thoughts, photographs, videos, songs, and ideas with others in a connected, engaging way. I have used Tumblr since I started high school, and I’ve always found it to be the most engaging and interesting social media platform by nature. Users can find specific niches within the network or they can follow an astounding diversity of blogs. Tumblr also stays “cool” by only having native ads, that flow seamlessly with the rest of the dashboard and do not distract users. Tumblr has done something simple really well, and for that reason it remains a force in the increasingly mobile social media sphere.
