Solar is one of my favourite apps on my iPhone because of its beautiful and simplistic interface. I admit, it is not the most functional weather app. For example, I was late to hear there would be additional snowfall on Friday, because the weather app only makes predictions three days into the future. But I forgive Solar, because I have no future in weather reporting, and the colours are so soothing, it is such a pleasure to check the weather. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone since Solar interprets the weather through a colour gradient and prodives no in-depth written details, it can feel a little too cool for its own good. To me, it’s a visually stunning app that has me checking the weather obsessively.
