My roommate… same guy as the cherry coke, bought this jacket out of impulsive from another student selling it for a quarter of the retail price. Some things are just “cool” to have, and kind of obscure the lines of desirability. In this particular case, some people might want this jacket because it’s from a TV show. My roommate probably bought it because it was unique and cheap. How much more desirable to products become because they are cheaper or perhaps less desirable because they are second-hand?
