These aluminum bottles by Coca Cola are definitely very elegant and desirable. However, there are more reasons than meet the eye- these bottles are lighter and stronger than glass and can be stacked on top of one another. They retain temperature better than glass or plastic and hence require less energy to keep cool.
Coca-Cola has even taken advantage of the cost-effectiveness and versatility of direct bottle printing to create several runs of limited edition branded bottles. Many of these have become collectors’ items.
