A brand new season of Arrested Development is set to be released on Netflix on May 26th. That alone has fans such as myself reeling with anticipation. Yet as the TV series is not going to be on FOX or any other traditional television station, some very clever advertising has come into play. The Bluth’s banana stand, central to many of the series’ running story lines, has been making appearances in New York this past week. Not only does it get word out about the new season, but it gives fans an opportunity to connect with the show in a way that is, to many, a bit like a dream come true. It’s an incredibly clever design for desirability, as it gives fans a chance to physically interact with a small part of Arrested Development itself. 

As is often said on the show, “There’s always money in the banana stand.”
