What I’ve Got: Flowers

Last night, I spent quite a bit of time traversing flower selections online, to find a bouquet to send to my house on Mother’s Day. Of course, my hope was that this bouquet would brighten her day and remind her how special of a person she is. Today, I was reminded again of the power of such a simple yet beautiful object to brighten a person’s day by the hundreds of bright yellow daffodils laid out on Science Center Plaza and around the yard. Although somewhat fleeting, flowers are a timeless desirable product–in fact, the Dutch were so enamored with tulips at one point that they caused an economic bubble.
