The television show Mad Men is incredibly desirable because of its beautiful cinematography and exquisite attention to detail. The costumes are beautiful and highly curated, and the writers pay an enormous amount of attention to 1950-60s specifics. The “glamourous realism” creates a new intersection that we rarely see successfully accomplished on television.
