What I’ve Got: Harvard Housing System

by post_author

As the publicity chair of Winthrop House Committee, I’ve had Housing Day on my mind pretty intensely for the last week or so. Every year, Harvard’s 12 houses do their best to make themselves looks desirable and to excite freshmen about the possibility of entering the house. The Harvard Crimson’s FlyBy blog also publishes a ranking list of the houses.

Of course, the housing system is random anyways, so freshmen don’t have any control over where they end up. However, I think the Harvard housing system overall is very desirable. Housing is guaranteed for all students all four years, each house has its own unique perks and builds up its own community that becomes an integral part of the Harvard experience.
