The design of the pop-up club shows the versatility of bamboo; collaborations between artists and designers yield Alabama Black Belt bamboo light fixtures, bamboo “china” and bamboo furniture that highlight the product’s beauty, strength and sustainability for restaurant patrons.

The menu highlights southern cuisine, from Alabama’s Gulf Coast to the Black Belt of Alabama, giving John Currence–a James Beard-award-winning chef–a chance to bring his contemporary southern cuisine to the far reaches of the country, and tying contemporary cuisine with the contemporary material–bamboo.
