French Press
As a huge coffee lover, I was excited to see the french press being sold more. It makes brewing coffee so much more accessible. You don’t need to brew a whole pot with filters and boiler. The product name aptly describes its function too. However, it still seems like not a lot of people use it. I personally still haven’t because I’m skeptical that “pressed” coffee can be as fresh and desirable as “brewed” coffee from, say, Starbucks. I think there’s a missing educational element that compares the effectiveness of the french press to conventional brewing. Perhaps others are like me in wondering how to dispose of the coffee grind. It seems messy- is it worth it to upgrade from my conventional thermos?
