Designing for Desirability

            Though not specifically an app or a product or a service or an experience, Harvard is or encompasses a little bit of all. Regardless of its form, Harvard is desirable (simple evidence: tourists and number of applications). It’s exclusive. It’s selective. It’s intriguing. It’s expensive. It’s famous. To many, Harvard is a luxury experience that needs an invitation.

Fruit by the Foot                                        

            A fun little treat that kids (and some adults) crave, fruit by the foot snacks are cleverly designed so that kids can enjoy playing with their food while learning or reading the story printed on the paper behind it. Because they are so long, kids think they are eating more candy than they actually are. FBFs are small, (pocket-sized), colorful, fun, and inexpensive.
