MIT Innovation Aggregator

In the midst of this pandemic we are discovering bottlenecks in many of our systems that we wouldn’t have thought much of before (e.g. the lack of masks). That combined with the time sensitivity of the solutions to these problems innovation has become all the more important. One of the patterns we are seeing right now is that many extremely useful innovations are coming from individuals rather than well funded research or industrial labs. One of the things allowing this is geographically independent collaboration between people. One person’s innovation in Egypt gives someone in Alaska another idea. In the age of social media this, in essence,  is nothing new, but I’d like to see sites with daily innovation updates continue.
