I think Netflix is a great product beyond just my general addiction to online streaming television. For one, it is ad-free (which makes me much more inclined to engage with it than Hulu). But there is also an ease-of-use component where Netflix outpaces its main competitor, Hulu. If I don’t know what to watch, suggestions show up based on previous elements. When I am watching something, there’s a progress bar, and easy navigation to see all the episodes. Additionally, the experience is positive across platforms (phone, laptop, and Amazon FireStick), whereas Hulu’s feature to browse episodes is considerably more challenging.
