My mom is obsessed with our Eames chairs, and they were an important part of my childhood. The molded plywood and simple, iconic design make this chair very aesthetic and beautiful. Charles Eames designed the chair to feel “warm” and “receptive”, like a baseball mitt. I feel like you sink into these chairs, even though they are just plywood– they rightly deserve their place not only in homes but in art museums around the world.
