I recently got this new desk lamp for my dorm. I wasn’t expecting much – but was impressed of how a $10 desk lamp could carry such a great design. First: its extremely portable, detaching from a cellphone charger-looking base and folding seamlessly into a thin strip of plastic that can fit into a handbag. Secondly, its very, very bright, illuminating better than most desk lamps I ever had. And, finally, the material its built of, plastic with rubber details, feels really sturdy and satisfying to use.
