Recently, as I’ve been slogging through preparing for my oral exams, I’ve been drinking a ton of espresso, so today I’m going to be talking about one of my favorite inventions, the Bialetti stovetop espresso maker. This machine has saved me so much money and makes coffee that’s to die for. It uses steam pressure to brew the coffee, and has an icon octagonal shape that allows for best distribution of pressure. The design is so great that it hasn’t changed from its original Italian make in the 1930s. Truly an iconic kitchen piece.
