Dubbed the “one app to rule them all,” Station is an app for Windows and Mac that combines all of the most popular web-applications into one workstation. The main integrations I use are Gmail, Trello, Google Drive, and Slack, but I also have other applications like Facebook Messenger, GroupMe, and even Instagram on my Station. The basic premise is that instead of having to flip through dozens of tabs in your web-browser or take up valuable hard drive space with more downloaded apps, everything is in one place. By far the most useful features are universal search and notifications, so I can look through all my inboxes and files at once and get essentially all of my web communication notifications in the same place. While the target users are teams in small and large businesses, I still find Station to be an aesthetically pleasing app that also helps cut down on Internet rabbit-holes of procrastination.
