Fanny Packs are a fascinatingly interesting item. I have two fanny packs and I have been trying to find good opportunities to wear them. The pack does serve a great purpose. It allows one to carry much more than just what their pockets permit without having to had a bag as big as a backpack and does not required the burden of carrying a handbag. The fanny packs invention is accredited to an Australian woman named Melba Stone in 1962. The design was inspired by kangaroo pouches. Throughout time it has been adopted by different groups for different uses. By European skiiers in the 60s, money bag for tourists in the ‘80s and drug receptacles for ravers in the ‘90s. I hope to start using mine as an alternative to a backpack when I don’t have to carry my laptop.
