One trend that I’ve been noticing a lot lately are makeup brushes with decorated handles, the most popular kind being mermaid tail handles. At first, this trend seemed to come out of nowhere, but then I realized that this was only a matter of time. Unicorns and magic became popular once again around 2015, appearing on shirts, as hair dyes, and inspiring food recipes. Mermaids, being a famous part of the magical world, would soon join in on this rainbow takeover. It was only a matter of time before the makeup market caught on to this. I actually really like this trend, and I think that these mermaid makeup brushes make you feel even more magical when putting on makeup. Just like how people enjoy using cute stationary when writing or drawing, makeup is just another form of art, and the makeup brush you use is just another form of expression.
