Not all buildings are made the same, especially with the user and their computer in mind. Imagine you show up to a cafe to do work but realize your computer is on 10% battery. You inspect every nook and cranny for an outlet, and finally discover one but it’s 5 feet away from the only table that’s available. So what do you do next? Ever since I bought a power travel strip, I never have to worry. I feel a little self conscious when I whip it out because I look like I work for IT when I use it, but I’m always grateful when I can sit comfortably at a cafe or classroom and have my computer charged. I almost always get neighbors who ask if they can plug in as well. This one in particular is useful because it has ports for USB so it takes up even less space.
