My dad funded Zos on Kickstarter, so now we’ve got a small family of Zosses chilling in our kitchen. Zos is a startup that makes lighted wine preservers. Zos (short for Zero Oxygen Solutions) claims to keep an opened bottle of wine fresh for two months. You can re-open and re-seal the bottle as much as you like, because the Zos fiiter, which is made from a special clay compound, sucks out the oxygen from inside the bottle without a pump or any active effort from the user. A light on the Zos top indicates whether or not the filter needs to be changed (green means it’s okay, red means you must buy a new filter). We haven’t let a bottle of wine sit for two months yet, but we often keep wine for a week and it still tastes great!
