Tide pods are such a clever invention. The best inventions and designs, I find, are those which we didn’t know we needed, and don’t always consciously acknowledge, but that make necessary parts of our lives easier or more pleasant. And this is what Tide Pods accomplish. Washing clothes has become less complicated and intimidating. Its such a simple idea- to combine the necessary cleaning liquids and package them in individual load sizes to cut down the steps the user needs to think about. I don’t know a college student, or young adult that wouldn’t prefer them to a bottle of detergent and another of softener… and that is the kind of desire that makes a product successful.
