The Nike+ is not a new product. It consists of a little sensor that goes under the insole in your shoe (you need to use compatible shoes). You plug a small receiver into your iPod and then you can track your run. Nike+ tracked your pace, distance, and calories burned. Your iPod alerted you to milestones in your run. Of course, all the information Nike+ provided is now completely integrated into your iPhone or fitibit. At the time though, it was a novel way of letting you listen to music and track your run unobtrusively.
