As a die-hard pc user, I’ve been reluctant to try macs due to the switching costs. However, after HSA revamped the entire office and every computer was replaced by an iMac, I started to really appreciate their design. To start, the iMac was a revolutionary design back in the day, as it was the first desktop to have the computer and monitor as a single entity. Second, the iMac is incredibly thin, at only 5 mm on the edges. The curved back is very effective at disguising the heft, so that the middle can be quite thick but still look thin over all. Lastly, the iMac has a beautiful profile. Its minimalist base is curved at the perfect angle, and you can easily adjust the tilt of the screen.
