For years I used a regular disposable razor, then a subscription box turned me on to using this safety razor from Standard Razor. Not only does their site have fantastic marketing, making razors seem really cool (”Aircraft grade aluminum”), but their product actually follows through. It has a really nice weight and feel, and the way that the contour of the head is designed made it really quick to learn to shave using a completely different tool than I am used to. This is a product that goes beyond the physical product and really gives the user a good experience such that they look forward to using it, even when it’s technically a necessity.
