The Garmin Forerunner 25 is a GPS running watch that also pairs with a heart rate monitor chest strap. I use it for indoor training as a member of the rowing team, in order to make sure I’m in the right heart rate zone to maximize the effect of the training. 

The screen is really big and it doesn’t try and cram too much information on the screen so it’s very easy to read, which is a big positive of this particular watch. It also has three buttons that you ever use (one is the backlight), so operation is very simple as well.

The GPS functionality is very useful for cross training outdoors, and for tracking distances when we get back on the water after winter.
