The Post-It Note provides the ability to stick something to a surface without damaging the surface or leaving any residue. Allowing the user to temporarily attach a note to virtually any surface, the Post-It provides a great amount of flexibility. Originally, the creator of the reusable adhesive, Spencer Silver, was trying to make a super-strong adhesive in 1968. However, he ended up with a product that was able to adhere paper to an object without leaving a trace. The desirability of this product is seen through the versatility and endless possibilities posed by the Post-It Note. The notes can be put anywhere, and are customized by the user, creating a greater inclination for the consumer to use the product.
