I have recently started using Pinterest very often. I’ve been on a shopping- and fashion- obsessed mood lately, and Pinterest enables me to keep track of what styles and trends I like and customize my own look book.
It’s also just a handy way to save and collect beautiful photos online. As an amateur photographer, I can keep a board of photos that I am inspired by in one easy place. Since I have the Chrome extension, all I have to do to save a picture is to hover my mouse over the picture, click the Pinterest logo and which board I want to save it on, and viola! I can access my saved photos at anytime.
Pinterest also has an amazing feature which allows you to search for similar photos online. You just select the image and the portion of the image that you want to run a search on, and the software does a decent job on finding similar images. It’s very useful for online comparison shopping.
