I stole this poster off a bulletin board in the Sackler Museum because it really caught my eye. The paper has a slightly brown color and is thin but textured, feeling a bit like a paper bag, while all the green appears to be paint. I have no idea what this printing method is or how the paint was swirled to create this effect but it looks awesome and appears much more vibrant in person than in the photo above. The texture difference between the paper and the paint also adds a cool tactile nature to it. The poster’s distinct verticality, the way it plays with negative space, and the continuity effect created by the paint swirls also make this poster stand out.
