Conductive ice cream orchestrates a musical licking performance. Food Designer Emilie Baltz and smart objects designer Carla Diana staged an interactive performance in New York City as a resident artists at School of Visual Arts. The music is activated by licking the ice cream. Each participant musician can express their musical talent or reaction to the ice cream only by licking. Food is pleasurable, and so is music. This collaborative interactive exhibition between food and music combines the experience from both of our tasting and hearing senses.
