These pens took out the scariest part of a syringe, the needle, and replaced it with an ink cartridge. They still retain their syringe plunger on the back, which allows you to push the pen tip out for use, and they have a see-through body where you can see your ink as you use it. The sides are labeled in mm and mL so you can see just how much ink you have left. The syringe pens are much more interesting than the traditional pens, and can be very startling at first glance. The fact that they are unexpected and make onlookers curious (and even concerned), make these pens a fun, new way to take notes.
